[From Stephen Trew] I remember way back in the 80s when I told my parents buying a ZX Spectrum would help me with homework. They bought one and 90% of the time was spent playing manic miner; although I did learn to program on it and did do some homework on it too. With the recent iBooks textbook announcement many children will use the same argument to the parents for buying a tablet, mostly iPads. Once parents think something is essential for education sales will soar. This has been Apple's tactic for a long time. Apple's emphasis on education shows that this strategy is being ramped up again to boost sales.
