I don't see it myself to be honest, not using the traditional means of receiving live television anyway. If Apple signed deals from all the major providers to allow streaming live TV and on-demand programmes over IP, then perhaps. But those deals are a big ask. If this is for real Apple will want to revolutionise TV and I think that means no cable, satellite or terrestrial signals, only IP TV. Read in full
