[From Jason Benner in Chicagoland.] Recently my office un-blocked the port that allows FaceTime to work and I am so glad to be able to occasionally chat with my wife and kids while on lunch break. Being a company that is tech friendly has it's benefits. I really like having FaceTime on my iPhone but I don't find myself using it as much as I expected. The biggest reliance I had was during a trip to China last year which helped me stay in touch with my family. Overall there are just not that many people I know that have Apple products.
If Apple developed a Windows and Android version, I think it's adoption would be much greater and it would be less of a novelty. The call quality seems much greater than Skype, and the simplicity of it's interface is amazing. Here's to hoping FaceTime is adopted more widely in the coming months and years.
