Google have just released an update for their well known search-by-picture application, Google Goggles that will now allow you to solve many Sudoku puzzles simply by snapping them up on your mobile device's camera. Take a snap of the Sudoku puzzle and within seconds the application has whizzed off and retrieved you a solution. The application which is available on both the iPhone and Android operating systems has predominantly been for price comparisons and internet searches but it seems that developers at Google have found this new use for the application. Whilst some are ever grateful for it app, other Sudoku fanatics are not, saying that it simply spoils the game; mixed thoughts then. The application is available from the App Store and the market respectively.
