[From TJ] "The European UMTS version of the Palm Pre will be able to surf the Web while making a phone call at the same time, something that Sprint's U.S. version won't be able to do, Palm vice president of software product management Pam Deziel confirmed at Mobile World Congress on Tuesday." So there it is. Is this a deal breaker for those wondering if they should wait for a GSM version of the Pre instead of the limited, USA-only usable, ancient CDMA standard? As the Sprint Pre info leaks out in dribs and drabs, some unhappy news keeps surfacing. Still, the Pre shows some promise if the user can afford an always-internet-on service.
