electronista reports that "i-mate, maker of the Ultimate brand of smartphones, has recently announced it is launching the i-mate Go interface for its Windows Mobile 6.1-powered offerings. Based on the VITO Winterface, i-mate Go brings Windows Mobile users with touch-screen devices an iPhone-like interface, with large, square virtual buttons acting as shortcuts to launch popular applications. Users can customize the icons, selecting the most-often used applications to pop up on the main screen." Think I may have mentioned this last week but we publish a lot so of not this is a reminder.
