[From Anton] A few days ago I pre-ordered the Pandora handheld and boy am I anxious to get one. It's basically a gaming UMPC. The usability of it, however, extends far beyond just gaming. It is a handheld with a touchscreen and wifi that boasts a keyboard, dual sdhc slots, usb host, tv-out, and 10 hour battery life - all in a size of a nintendo DS. And on top of that, it can run Ubuntu (the ARM variant of it) Which means that unlike devices like the EEE and other netbooks, this is the first POCKETABLE fully functional netbook and strikes a perfect balance between size and usability. Devices like the iPhone are great for media playback but are not suited well for data entry. Netbooks work fine for data entry, but aren't exactly pocketable. With Pandora, I will be able to surf the web using Firefox, and install a huuge library of linux apps. The gaming aspects are just a nice bonus. So, I cant wait till November, when the first batch ships an I will be back to post a review! :)
