I was rather excited to find that there is now a $10 App called NetShare available which effectively allows you to turn your iPhone into a wireless modem. Once installed, you can access the net through your computer. I think this looks like a great little App, and at only $10 it is a real steal. Many people have complained about how hard they are finding the initial set up of the App; however I have located a tutorial article that can guid you through the process step by step. The only downside to the App is that people with FireFox 3 may not be able to install it however it is proven to run fine with FireFox 2 and also Safari.
I like these sorts of Apps as I think it is a reflection of the true capability that the iPhone has. It is not all just about style, the iPhone is showing it has real substance and I must admit I really enjoy looking through the Apps Store and having a look around at what is on offer. It is this 'kid in a candy store' element that I have not ever experienced with a mobile device before and I am constantly eager to find more hidden gems within this device!
