After taking delivery of my 3G iPhone this morning, my excitement has not stopped. I have spent the most part of my day exploring my new device and seeing what it has to offer. I firstly (and most importantly) downloaded the Facebook App, and I still find this the coolest aspect of my iPhone! I love the way that you can personalize the home screen, allowing you to arrange icons in the order that you want. I personally have my contacts, phone, SMS and iPod as my main 4 Apps, and have rearranged the rest on screen to fit in with how frequently I will use them. I like the ease at which you can change settings. Unlike with other phones that I have had, I haven’t had to waste nearly 2 hours trying to work out the steps that I have to go through in order to change my ring tone. The camera is very good and has such good clarity considering it houses just a 2.0 mega pixel camera.
Simplicity is ever-present throughout the device and yet it keeps an ere of sophistication and is without doubt the most stylish device around in my mind. It is the most responsive touch screen I have ever used and it is this close interactivity coupled with the constant updates that really attracted me. Although with the iPhone I purchased an 18 month contract, in actuality, what I have purchased is an 18 month base, onto which I can form an ever changing array of applications. If I chose to, I could update daily and in essence have a new phone every day.
