That is not a typo in the title, there really is going to be a thousand dollar App available for download, so if you have a spare thousand sitting in your bank and you just don’t know what to spend it on, how about the “I Am Rich” App for your iPhone? Developers have made the App, which is merely a red jewel that they say will “always reminds you (and others when you show it to them) that you were able to afford this.” The other part of the App is a small ‘secret’ information icon that when pressed gives you a small mantra that “may help to you stay rich, healthy and successful.” Why on earth people would download this App is beyond me yet I can see a potential market for this App. You always hear stories about people who ‘have more money than sense’ and now they have their own dedicated App! There will un-doubtfully be a group of people who will look to this App as a route to establishing a status symbol and this App is in essence the phone equivalent to the Black American Express Card. I personally don’t see the attraction of such an App however I must take my hat off to the developers who will no doubt make a tidy profit from the App, they just won’t be making that money from me.
