[From Damon] I used a Treo600 (fine machine) until upgrading to the Centro in
December 2007 and this device really has become a centerpiece of my
functional day. I use Plucker[1] to read books and TCPMP[2] to watch
videos and listen to podcasts. With SplashID[3] and SplashShopper[3]
and the built-in Calendar, I don't need to rely on weak grey-matter to
remember things. At least a dozen times a day, I check weather[4] and
wikipedia[5]. I use MoTwit[6] to as a quick journal, but I'm looking
into Posterous[7].
It has made me hungry for more: I want my phone to be my credit card, my car key, and my high-end digital camcorder. The built-in camera is functional in a pinch, but not a good replacement for the point-and-click camera I use (Lumix DMC-FX35). I fully expect to get my wish in the next five years.
