Remember that I am looking for Associate Writers to come and help us Editors out at PA and write on a voluntary basis. Obviously there are perks and this includes free software and I have even been known to give writers some of my gadgets. Here are some words from one of my Associate Writers, Simon Higginson who received a Treo 680 and a HP Laptop.
"Have you ever wanted to write about mobile devices? Are you proud to talk about how you use your Palm device or indeed whatever device you are using? I have been a Palmaddict Associate Writer for just over a year and I enjoy writing my experiences, software I see and I love learning and reading the ways you use your devices. Of course this is purely a voluntary post but I am grateful to Sammy for kindly giving me a Treo 680 and a HP Windows Laptop. In addition it's great testing and sampling new software, but I also have to write my own personal experiences and keep an eye on new software that we mobile users can take advantage of. So if you fancy writing then get on board, I am loving every minute of it and I will continue doing so for as long as PA allows me."

Received a Treo 680 and a HP Laptop
Again, our Technology Editor Andy who is based in Indonesia and has received a HTC Touch and a Palm Centro has this to say.
"Fancy your mobile gadgets more than anything else in this world?
Well, I do. I love my gadgets! Either they are a laptop, music player, mobile phone, or any mobile gadgets; they sure are making my life fun and easier to live with. There hasn’t even one day passed by, without touching and using them. I thought I’m sort of a freaky nerd gadget, kinda people who live alone in his exclusively small world.
But it all changed, when I encountered Palm Addict weblog. At first, I was only looking for more infos about Treo that I was planning to buy back then. After reading some of the stories on how other are using their mobile gadgets, I knew I’m not alone anymore. Just by wrote a single post about my new Treo, I felt so welcomed and found a place where I belong to. Not long after that, Sammy kindly entrusted me to write more about my own personal experience and thoughts around mobile tech at his Palm Addict weblog.
And the more I give by writing blogs and post them at Palm Addict, the more I get from others too. I’ve been encouraged & also inspired so many times, with stories that came from around the globe. This is, truly is the main prize from the community you can connect to; aside from Sammy’s giveaway prizes of course. It has never been my goal to write in order to get those amazing giveaway prizes Sammy throws so often, but instead of leaving me in peace; he bombarded me with two mobile phones (HTC Touch & Centro) and two free mobile apps (Makayama’s TouchBrowser & NormSoft’s pTunes for WinMob) in less than a year! I’ve kept telling Sammy to lower down his kindness level, but he just won’t listen!!
