[From Jeremy Hollick] In preparation for my bachelor party weekend in Las Vegas, I had grabbed Rambo, The Orphanage, and Apocolypto from iTunes. I got through Rambo and half of The Orphanage before the flight attendent scolded me for not turning off my device for the landing. This little baby saved me from unthinkable boredom during the flight and man did the movies look great for such a small screen. I can't wait to pack it full of more movies for the flight from upstate NY to Australia for my honeymoon. During the downtime in Las Vegas ( a.k.a. recovering from the night before ) I finished off my movies and continued with my Mandarin Chinese audiobook lessons. I think what I love most about my iPhone is its interface. I actually find myself playing with the phone ( even though I'm 6 months in now ) just because I can. Through any faults the current generation iPhone may have, I don't think I've ever actually enjoyed using my phone or PDA as much. The Google maps application has all but replaced my Garmin Nuvi for most quick trips. I've googled recipes while at the grocery store so we get the right ingredients. The screen is bright enough that I can hit the home button and light my darkened stairwell up enough so I don't trip when the hall light burns out. It wakes me up from my lunch time powernaps at work. When I hit the gym I have a nice workout mix, and if an emergency call comes in I won't miss it. I can't hook it in to MS Exchange yet, but if I'm away from the office for a few days I am able to use Outlook Web Access which doesn't look half bad on the screen. Those are just a few examples of how I've been able to use my iPhone for the past 6 months. In a few more weeks, when the App Store opens up, I'm sure I'll find a few more uses for it as well!
