[From Mark Schutt
Nebraska] Greetings Sammy,
Thank you for giving us PalmAddicts. It is a regular stop for me each day. I appreciate your hard work.
On December 5, 2007, a young man walked into a Von Maur clothing store at the Westroads Mall in Omaha, Nebraska. He had a rifle hidden under his coat. He went to the third floor and began to shoot. Before he took his own life, he also took the lives of several other people. For those of us who live near Omaha, the story transfixed us. We were shocked, horrified and frightened.
The day was an apparent disaster until my oldest daughter called me on my cell phone. "Dad, I am going to the hospital, it is time." At 11:05 PM, my first grand daughter entered the world. With my TX in hand, I wrote down her weight, height and name; Kendal. I also wiped away my tears as her arrival washed over the rest of the heartache from that day. Her birthday will always be a sign of hope for me and a reminder of how much we need to love each other. The days go by too quickly and can change without notice. Thanks for the chance to share Sammy.
