One new mobile phone that has been attracting attention & crowds at CTIA 2008 event is Sprint's Samsung Instinct (SPH-M800), set to be release this year summer. By a quick glance over Instinct, it'll easily remind us of the famous iPhone design; and even dubbed as "iPhone competitor" by a Sprint spokeswoman. Here are the rundown on what we'll be expecting inside it:
- 3.1 inch display screen with 262,000 colors
- CDMA\EVDO network
- 2M pixels camera
- stereo Bluetooth
- audible caller ID
- voice dialing & commands
- full HTML browser
- digital music player that shows album art
- phone modem capability
- threaded text conversation
- microSD expansion slot
- Microsoft Live Search
- Sprint Music Store
- Sprint Radio & TV
- integrated GPS with Sprint Navigation
- Visual Voicemail feature alike
Sprint only released a press statement that their Instinct mobile phone will be sold under $300 on June, the price tag is just another appealing factor besides the additional 2GB microSD & 3.5mm headset jack that come along in the package. But it seems like the glossy exterior of Instinct doesn't resemblance the power-features it has, Gizmodo have been reporting of a hang situation where they needed to do a hard reset on Instinct while browsing with Sprint Music Store.
