Sammy often asks us to tell you how we're using our Palm devices and we tell you. Hopefully, it gives you some ideas of new things to do. But this one is a little embarrassing.
The thing is, I am a very rational person. Very. But there is just one thing...
In my defence, when you hear footballers interviewed, a lot of them have a superstition - some little thing that they do before playing, that they have to do before playing. It could be the order they put their boots on, touching the pitch or listening to a favourite bit of music.
Well, I'll let you into a secret. I support Tottenham Hotspur and have done since I was a nipper. And I know, for a fact, that if I watch them play on TV or listen to them on the radio, we'll lose. If I go to a game, it's not a problem. But if it's TV or radio, we'll lose. Every time. It is a curse for someone who supports a team!
Well, on Tuesday night, like other times that we are playing, Tottenham were playing Arsenal for a place in the League Cup final. Knowing I couldn't watch or listen, I did the only other thing I could - I checked the score on my PDA! It seems safe!
We were 4-0 up and I felt that it was safe to listen. So I turned the radio on and it's no exaggeration to say that, 10 seconds after putting the radio on, Arsenal scored! (I promise that I am not making this up!) So back to the Palm for the rest of the game, online, in text, from the BBC's website.
So, I have been using my Palm to allow my team to win!
