Gearlive is reporting some major new features on the way for version 1.3 of the iPhone firmware. They say that we will have a hybrid mode in Google maps, semi-GPS in that Google maps will now do cell tower triangulation, the ability to put web addresses on the home page as icons, the ability to change the order of home page icons, the ability to drag and drop applications to the home page, multiple page ability for the home page, and the ability to send SMS to more than one recipient at a time. Gearlive's site is being hammered right now and it's hard to get through. But you might want to give it some time and then check them out here. I hope it's all true.
