Now this is really amazing. The iPhone has only been out for 5 months or so, and it has surpassed Windows Mobile in terms of browsing. Market Share, by Net Applications says: "We've been tracking iPhone usage since its launch. Total web browsing on the iPhone has topped the web browsing on all Windows Mobile devices combined, as this report shows. This report is a listing of the top operating system versions in use. It is not a measure of units sold, but the share of users browsing the internet with the devices. The iPhone has had a dramatic rise in usage share in its short time on the market Is this due to a better user interface? Larger screen?" According to Net Applications, the iPhone has a 0.09% share and Windows Mobile has 0.06% share. . ComputerWorld says: "According to Gartner, MS and its partners shipped over three million Windows Mobile devices in Q1 2007. They've been selling WindowsCE devices since 1996 - over 10 years." And still the iPhone beats it in terms of browsing. Amazing.
