With the holiday gift giving upon us, you might be tempted to give in to your teenager and buy them a smartphone. For instance, the new Centro with such a low price seems like a great idea. The phone will allow them to stay in contact with you, organize all of their due dates and assignments, keep track of practice times and important school meetings. On the other hand --- many schools are now adopting policies that regulate the use of mobile phones in classrooms and the school. Is a smartphone something that your child can make use of and enjoy - definitely! Just be aware of any restrictions that could be imposed by others.
