AT&T has announced that the 3G iPhone will be released next year. This would mean vastly increased uploading and downloading speeds. When the iPhone was announced Steve Jobs said that the main problem with using 3G was that it was very battery hungry and resulted in too short a battery life. Maybe they've solved this problem.
According to Engadget, UK iPhones are having problems with reception and Apple is replacing them if they are turned in.
Vaja has announced a series of new cases for the iPhone including the Crystal 2 and the i-Volution Silver and Top Visor.
It's more work than I want to do, but Lifehacker has posted a tutorial on how to tether your iPhone to your laptop and use it as a modem.
GizMac has announced the Titan Clear case for the iPhone. It looks very interesting and includes a built-in vertical and horizontal stand.
Playlist.com has a nice little article about adding files directly to your iPod (works with the iPhone too) without having them as part of your iTunes music library.
