Here are a few random postings related to the iPhone which I hope you will find interesting:
Tip: If you wake your iPhone from sleep when it’s playing music, it will display the currently playing album’s art instead of your wallpaper as well as put the name of the track that you’re playing underneath the clock.
AppleCare for the iPhone is available for $69. This will extend your warranty to two years.
If you don't own an iPhone, but want to learn more about it, you can read the full iPhone manual here.
Apple has posted a page on how to get the most our of your iPhone battery. You can find it here.
Tip: From the Apple page mentioned above (this applies to the iPod also): Adding EQs to playback uses more of your processor, since they aren’t encoded in the song. Turn EQ off if you don’t use it. If, however, you’ve added EQ to tracks in iTunes, you’ll need to set EQ to “flat” in order to have the effect of “off,” because iPhone keeps your iTunes settings intact. Go to Settings > iPod > EQ.
With all the talk about how many iPhones were activated when the phone first went on sale, remember that activations are not sales. AT&T had a lot of trouble activating the phones, so initial activation numbers are no indication of how many units were actually sold. I got mine on the second day and it took another 4 days for them to activate it.
Tip: certain cases, and this applies to any phone, don't let a lot of air circulate around the phone. If you charge your phone while it is in the case, and the case seems to get warm, take the phone out of the case and continue charging. Heat build-up while charging will not help your battery life.
