Well, it's been a while since I posted something so I figured I'd better get to it. I actually got to it three days ago, but my mobile technology had other plans that did not include what I wanted. So here I am back to work on PA with everything back in working order. Better no say that too loud or something will hear it and stop working.
An interesting post in the forum regarding the necesity of touchscreens made me think about my recent wreck in the truck. (In case you didn't know about this, PM me in the forum and I'll send you the link to my personal blog about it.) Anyway, after the wreck I noticed a crack in the screen of my Treo, the screen still came on (but no touchscreen functionality) and I could navigate, so luckily I still had the majority of functions available to me. So my thoughts on that topic is that no touchscreens aren't necessary if your sevice supports one-handed navigation AND has a way to select text without a stylus. Microsoft has released (licensed) several products without touchscreens that run its fabled WM and they sell and work just fine. I wonder, however, if they work better or worse than our average Treo?
Lastly, for those of you looking for another Palm Conversation, I'll get one out as soon as I can think up another good topic. By the way, you can suggest one via PM in the forum.
Take care if your traveling and stay off the ice!!!
