Here are some of my Monday thoughts:
Thanks to everyone and I mean everyone who has sent in great emails about the PA5 podcast I am glad you are enjoying them. Missed today's? Here is the link. More coming very soon as we launch the new Fall / Winter season of PA5 podcasts.
PalmPDF v1.4 added to the freeware-palm listings, and as I said over the weekend this is a very good program that I use personally.
The experiment (part one) is an interesting editorial from the guys at PDA24/7. "Last Friday I posted an article called The pen is mightier than the stylus which was followed by a slew of emails asking if PDA247 was going away (use the comments links if you can:)) and it's definately not. I am not about to set up pdas-are-evil-247.com but wanted to experiment with not using a PDA for a week or so to see if I can cope after more than a decade of mobile organisation reliance."
Interesting thoughts on the forthcoming Zune from Engadget. "So throughout this whole Zune launch thing the whole lot of us have been playing cat and mouse with Microsoft on the finer points. Will it or won't it be built on PlaysForSure or some variant? How will it recognize copyrighted vs. creative commons content without opening up piracy loopholes? And perhaps most importantly: how will the wireless work? Well, it turns out that a Zune employee by the name of David Caulton thought it'd be worth putting together a cogent explanation of what the Zune wireless connection can and can't do."
F1Season2006 is something updated on a annual basis. "This FREEWARE stand alone program gives you detailed information about the F1 championship Season 2006 in black and white, graylevel and full colour 160 x 160 graphics. There is also a HiRes version available: F1 Season 2006 HiRes with 320x320 full colour grahpics. "
The Confession is a new ebook over at the ereader website. "In August 2004, Governor James E. McGreevey of New Jersey made history when he stepped before microphones, declared “My truth is that I am a gay American,” and announced his resignation. The story made international headlines—but what led to that moment was a human and political drama more complex and fascinating than anyone knew. Now, in this extraordinarily candid memoir, McGreevey shares his story of a life of ambition, moral compromise, and redemption."
The Leonard Maltin 2007 Movie Guide 2.1 is reduced at the moment over at the Palmgear,

The 2007 Edition of the Leonard Maltin Movie Guide for Palm OS is packed with the films you can't afford to miss — and those you can — from box-office smashes to cult classics to forgotten gems to forgettable flops."
