"Vodafone's Treo 750 Web site now says the price range of the Palm smartphone will be free to £212.77 (about $270) when the carrier-giant releases it at the end of the month. This jibes with indications from Palm that when launched the GSM-enabled 750v will be able to be had for nothing with a data plan, and, likely, an extended service contract during its financial call yesterday."
"Inaugural launch countries for the Treo 750v over the next several weeks will include Austria, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and Switzerland, after which Vodafone plans to expand deployment to other regions."

[From Sammy] PDA24/7 has a new editorial Is Palm breaking Windows Mobile? "The entry of Palm into the Windows Mobile world was initially well received, and now that the derisory amount of memory in the Treo 700w has been sorted, they are now being roundly lauded for producing the best Windows Mobile phones.
There are now however reports trickling out that all is not so good in the Windows Mobile world when it comes to Palm's implementation. Their version if far from standard, for example completely replacing the phone dialer with one more familiar to PalmOS users."
