[From Benja Arthachinta] Hi Sammy, Don't believe I have ever read any news popping out of Thailand but I'd sure be glad to help from this side of the world. I had a very interesting conversation with the Palm Treo distributor today. I'm not sure if this is the case elsewhere but Thailand has one distributor for the Treo line and another for the PDA business. Hmmmm... Anyways, I was inquiring about the new "Black Tie" special edition of the Treo set to be released here in the Asia Pacific region and she confirmed that Thailand will also receive some. I then asked her about the possibility of the new Treo 700p arriving onshore soon and she said that they actually setting a time for a meeting about this issue today. I then asked her if it will be a GSM model and she also confirmed that one is on the way. She even went as far as saying that it could arrive here in Thailand as soon as August. Sammy, I may have to put off the Black Tie edition for the much anticipated 700p GSM.
