How do you organize your Palm software? Today I'll focus on my Reading category.
This is not meant to be an endorsement or a review of any of these titles or developers. It is simply one PalmAddict sharing with the PA community what works for him.
Bible With You: There are several Bible software titles available, and several I have on my Palm. They all provide very similar features, and I have three different titles because I have different versions of the Bible in each program. I use Bible With You for The Message version. A demo is available from PalmGear.
Bible+: Another Bible software title. I use this one for three different versions, including the Revised Standard Version. It's available FREE here.
BibleReader+: I use this Bible title for five different version of the Bible, includine the King James Version and the GodsWord version. It's available FREE from Olive Tree.
BibleReadme: A daily reading plan to read the Bible in a year included with BibleReader+ and available FREE from Olive Tree.
Docs To Go: Dataviz Documents To Go provides native Word, Excel, and Powerpoint support, and new in version 8.0, native PDF support. Available from Dataviz and well worth the purchase price.
eReader: Formerly titled PalmReader, an invaluable tool for reading eBooks and .doc format files on your Palm. A FREE version is available from Palm Digital Media.
MobileDBLite: A simple database viewer available FREE from Handmark. I don't use it often, but it uses very little memory and is nice to have when needed.
PalmFiction: Some consider this the most powerful document reader available for Palm OS. Why do I use both it and eReader? Basically, it allows me to be in the middle of multiple eBooks at one time (three, if I read one using Docs To Go). PalmFiction is GNU General Public License available from SourceForge.
PalmPDF: The first native PDF viewer for Palm OS, available in BETA from the developer.
Reading Plan: A daily reading plan to read the Bible in a year included with Bible+ and available in the GNU General Public License from David Trotz, Jr.
Spell Check: A simple spell checking program for your Palm, available FREE from EuroCool.
