Feel free to correct me.I know today everyone has been covering the story of PalmSource getting acquired by Access, every major tech news site, palm site, etc.. Am I the only one wondering (no disrespect to Access) how basically for all intent purposes an application company, they do make the great Netfront browser for multiple OS's acquire one of the world's leading mobile Operating System companies? I mean if this helps the Palm community I am all for it. It just really surprised me, and shocked me that a web browser company would acquire a major operating system that used their browser. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Maybe I didn't realize how big Access is as a company, and again no disrespect, but I still am amazed that a browser acquired an OS. I had not seen anyone really mention this, and I talked to a few of my fellow Palm friends from various sites, and they were wondering the same thing. How and why did this happen? I know Linux is big in Asia, Access is a Japanese company, and PalmSource is putting all it's effort into Palm OS for Linux but I still am kinda confused, lol. I think we were all expecting Palm to acquire PalmSource, from all the rumors. I mean it's great what I read at Cnet about Access possibly resurrecting Cobalt, I hope they do, it looked so promising. Click here to read Cnet's article here . Again I was just wondering, and was wondering what other's think of this?
