On Saturday I was in Liverpool I had two things I needed to do, firstly I had to do an interview for UK Channel 5 and discuss the implications of smartphones , how they integrate into society today and how much we have progressed in the last five years and had to travel to Liverpool to do the recording. Needless to say that we then did a little bit of culture, Liverpool for those of you who do not know has been made Caputal of Culture for Europe and we jumped on a Mersey Ferry and took a scenic look at Liverpool. Yes it was good, and the city was impressive however it was somewhat wet but still very good. Below picture sees me pretty wet through on the top deck of the Mersey Ferry. It was good regardless of the weather.
Good to see the second series of Torchwood start. Now for those of you unfamiliar to Torchwood it's a spin off from Dr Who [although I personally think it's much better] with Capt Jack played by the excellent John Barrowman. It's coming to the US soon and I believe a 3rd series is about to be commissioned. But good to see it back.
Torchwood is awesome, good to see it back on our screens.
