Analyst Firm Expects iPhone 5 To Come In Q3

The iPhone 5 will arrive in Q3 if this year according to analysists. "Peter Misek of Financial services provider Jefferies & Co issued a note saying that he expects the iPhone 5 to be launched in the September quarter which corresponds to the end of Q3. Misek joins a number of other analysts and news commentators that have publicly backed the rumour that the iPhone 5 will indeed come out later this year, just in time for the holiday season and possibly coinciding with the annual iPod messe in September." A Rainy Spring in Seattle

[From David Hamilton] Hi Sammy, Most people with iPads were probably users of iPhones or iPods before and love the increased real estate to work with. I've had my iPad for almost a year, to supplement my old Palm T|X in its clunky metal case. My daughter just gave me her 3rd generation iPod Touch and I'm amazed at its thinness and light weight. I'll be using it when I'm on the road for scheduling reminders, music and audio books, while the iPad is used as a second computer at home, a diversion while watching TV, sharing games with the granchildren and a source for stored movies while on vacation.

Reading eBooks on the iPhone

My iPad on the road

[From Lawrence Gitterman Thousand Islands, Canada ] I was a late adopter of the iPad but when I did finally get one I got a 3G model - never thinking I'd use the 3G. As it happens, I live in Canada, right near the US border, and travel into the States quite often. I never use data roaming on my iPhone because of the hefty roaming fees. But with my iPad I can get a pay as you go data plan from AT&T and have all the data I need in the US.

At the library with my iPod Touch

[From Lyle Beidler ] The other day I was at the public library with my kids, and my iPod Touch came in very handy. I keep a running list of books that I would like to read on my iPod, that way when I hear about one or see one in the bookstore I can add it to my list for later reference. While at the library I first consulted my list, then went to check the computerized catalog, but the lines at the catalog computers were very long. So I once again pulled out my iPod, fired up Safari, and went to the library's online catalog to do the searches I needed. The bonus to that was I didn't have to write down or remember the exact listing location - I could get close, then consult the listing again from right there in the stacks!
