I was lucky enough to get my hands on a copy of HanDBase, a great database handling client for Palm, Symbian, RIM, Android and iOS, including iPad.
There are two parts to it - a desktop client (for both Mac and Windows) and the mobile component. The idea is that you can create/edit databases on your device and sync them between both your mobile device and the computer; this is great for small businesses or even just for personal use.
I was able to get setup in minutes, downloaded the desktop client and installed the Android app, there are many great templates available for download from the community too - things like the equivalent of an address book, it could even be a database of your customers. The possibilities are endless really, it stops at the end of your creativity.
Now, I'm not too clever with databases but I found it really easy to create my own database from a template and started using it in minutes. The interface of the Mac and Android client is clean and easy to understand, there are no unnecessary buttons or functions either. You could even use the databases to store passwords, a shopping list and invoices.
As I'm typing this I'm currently filling out a template with my shopping list - that'll come in handy when I go out to the sales tomorrow. There are buttons, which act like tick boxes to allow you to tick off the items you've purchased (which removes them from the list).
To sync the databases between your device and your computer, it's really simple, you plug in your device in via USB, set it up once and you're ready to sync the databases back and forth endlessly, syncing it each time you update it.
As I said before, I'm not really too great with databases really, but the support on the HanDBase website was really helpful for me, it helped me a great deal as I was going through the process of making my database.
HanDBase is a great mobile data solution and has many different areas that it can be used in - whether you run a small business or just want to keep organised then HanDBase is just the one. There are many different platforms and 'spec' of application that you can get from HanDBase, starting at $24.99 - head on over to DDHSoftware for more information.

Here is a great game that if you get a sec download and play, it's from Astraware and it's OddBlob. "Meet OddBlob: the groovy clay dude who loves to bounce! Help OddBlob bound across the squishy maze to grab bonuses, chomp fruit, and win points as quickly as he can as the chasing tiles disappear behind. Watch out for bounce and double bounce tiles that can help you reach your goal or throw you through the gaps to impending peril below! Cake slices earn you a try at the cake or doom mini-puzzle, the more bounces you make to get the cake, the bigger the bonus!" More deets after the jump.
