My first post as an Associate Writer

Hello everyone. I thought I'd better post to introduce myself. Sammy has kindly invited me to be an Associate Writer. I am a married father of three based in the South of England and working in the legal profession. Not all of my family understand my interest in technology, they would call it an obsession!I intend to post mainly about my experiences with Android technology but may from time to time drift into other areas as the fancy takes me. Anyway, I hope the readers of PalmAddict enjoy my future posts

My first PalmAddicts post-Support for WebOS

Hey PalmAddicts fans, this is my first post for PA and I am looking forward to many more. Hopefully you find my post informative and enjoyable.

I am a WebOS user, I use the Pixi Plus, yet, I am a fan of all things mobile tech. I am simply obsessed and get excited for anything cell phone related. I am curious as to why WebOS gets no support. It is just as capable as Android or Iphone but those are the hot tickets. Everyone wants an Iphone or android phone so that’s what developers develop for. According to Phonedog, WebOS is just hitting 5,000 apps. This is exciting and disappointing. I want to see more support for WebOS and am really excited for what’s coming next-Assuming that its sometime soon.

I am curious though, what are you excited for? WebOS related or not, Windows Phone 7, Android 3.0, or maybe 4g networks.

Good to see a Palm Pre making it to the TV in a recent edition of How I Met Your Mother with Neil Patrick Harris and co. "But the most popular character, it would seem, is that of Barney Stinson (played by the perpetually awesome Neil Patrick Harris).
