[From Shelly E. Middleton] Hi Sammy! It's been a long time since I've written in. I still read your site, but have switched from using a Treo 700p to using a Blackberry Storm 2.
I simply LOVE using this device! I use it daily to first do my daily bible reading with the YouVersion Bible app. I then use PodTrapper to listen to podcasts while I get dressed. I get through my day of tasks and appointments with a combination of using PocketInformant and Todo Matrix. I keep my notes using IdeaMatrix. E-Mails are constantly being pushed to me from 5 different accounts along with SMS messages and Blackberry Messenger Messages. They can all be seen from my one Messages program. I don't have to worry about excess spam messages, because I use Antair Spam Filter. Any attached document is opened with the included Documents to Go, and I read PDFs with RepliGo Reader. I also use Facebook and Twitter (using ĆberTwitter) on my Storm 2! I watch video with movies downloaded to my Blackberry and watched on my Video app, video podcasts on PodTrapper, pre-recorded TV shows with VCast Video, and actual TV shows with SPB TV. I listen to radio music using Pandora for Blackberry and Slacker Radio. I use a combination of Poynt and WHERE to help me find businesses and other info throughout the day. I keep abreast of weather conditions using BerryWeather. I listen to missed phone calls using YouMail Visual Voicemail Plus. I keep up with daily news using RSS feeds. My on-the-go app for keeping up with those feeds is Unread. It is a great app for using Google Reader. I am reading David Allen's Getting Things Done with eReader. I track any eBay auctions I'm watching with the eBay app for Blackberry. At church, I use my Olive Tree bible to read scripture while listening to the sermon. All of my bibles that I had bought when I had a Treo 700p are still useable on my Blackberry Storm! :-) At night when I'm ready to go to sleep, I put my wonderful Storm 2 in its charging cradle and it turns into my clock radio. I can play music or scripture all night.
Thanks for all you do with the PalmAddicts site!
