[From Nada] The Treo 650 is still alive and well, I'm not the only one still to use one, I still see a lot of people with a Treo. Walk past Starbucks and you'll still see people texting on them or they are sitting on the table. I don't feel the design is ugly at all and Palm OS is a platform that is hard to beat. No plans to get rid of my 650 just yet.

[From Lawrence] My pre rocks. I've had it 3 months and love it. Multitasking is the best and obviously that is something you can't do on an iPhone. I can write emails listen to the radio and update the diary. I like the keyboard, I can type fast on it and it's better than having a pop up keyboard. Thanks Sammy for a great website, I enjoy reading how different people use their phones.

[From Bud Heberling] My Palm Centro's primary use is, of course, cell phone usage. However, a close second is the most excellent Datebk6 Calendar program! It keeps me on schedule. I'm currently test driving a Palm Pre Plus for 30 days but between its weak calendar and weak battery, it might get returned in far less than 30 days!

[From Eric Mann] Get this, Apple makes $208 on each $499 iPad. "The new iPad tablet priced at $499 actually runs Apple about $270 in materials and manufacturing costs, a Wall Street analyst said today.
According to a bill of materials (BOM) analysis by Brian Marshall of BroadPoint AmTech, the cost of goods inside Apple's 16GB WiFi-only iPad totals $270.50. That figure includes a $10 line item dedicated to manufacturing, but doesn't include another $20 set aside for under-warranty service costs. Adding the latter makes Marshall's bottom-line total $290.50." Read in full.

One of the things that I have been doing with my iPhone 3GS recently is keeping up with news and events regarding my favorite team - the New Orleans Saints. The Saints, by the way, will be playing in their first ever Super Bowl in Miami next weekend. We are very proud of this team!
Throughout the season, I kept up with all things football using the ESPN ScoreCenter app. Since that app started offering push score notifications, it made it even easier to keep up with the score for the games I couldn't watch. I can also follow other news outlets by going to an ever increasing number of websites designed for the iPhone and other mobile devices using the Safari web browser.
