The Palm TX (although forsaken by Palm) is in my opinion the best of the lot. Its ebook app (eReader) unlike many of the current versions is not DRM based. It will read any ebook (pdb) you can make or convert from text or pdf files. For some reason the eReader app on the Blackberry will only read ebooks obtained from the eReader store. The iPhone/Touch is very difficult to add books to. The Kindle, Sony and Nook are one trick ponies.
The Palm TX has a full 320x480 3+" screen and is great for reading ebooks of all kind and source. In addition the Palm TX will run all the great Palm apps.
Palm never advertised its TX properly and lost out on marketing this device, but those of us who have it know its real worth...
