[From Rudy Chow] After 9.5 years I will be saying goodbye to the Palm platform. I remember getting my first Palm V, and at the time it was a cutting-edge device, allowing you to store thousands of contacts, appointments, tasks, and memos. The Palm OS has moved quite a bit and I remember being excited with OS 5.0 and the multimedia improvements it brought.
Unfortunately, the OS has moved too slowly since then. Add to that the perpetual frustration that comes with having to compromise on hardware features device after device after device... Pre-Pre, Palm has never released a no-compromise device.
And so it is with a heavy heart that I will be saying goodbye to a faithful companion, and embarking on a journey with the BlackBerry platform. Goodbye Palm.
