With the unveiling of WebOS and the new palm Pre, I thing it's about the time we'll see palm head back up to the top of the pack. Yes, they've fallen recently, But this new device is in the spirit of what they started out to do. Not just to create new devices that were evolutionary, but revolutionary. And I think they captured it in the new Palm Pre. The conductive charging is one of the major features that will cause this to get good publicity. The slide-out keyboard, The specs, the headphone jack, those will pull in new users. And the ease of programming it- that is what will keep a hold on their users, and keep them stocked with the apps they need. I expect the new devices to come out like they did 5 years ago, and not die of quickly. Long Live Palm!
