[From Jim Baldwin] My son has just embarked on a long motorcycle trip through the southwestern part of the United States where temperatures are still hot this time of year. While he is a very experienced rider and safer than most, some of the stories he has to tell of his experiences and adventures close to home leave me with chills up and down my spine. I can't help but be nervous about him being so far from home. Fortunately, our Treos break down the time and distance as the occasional text messages and calls from him let us know where he is and how he is doing. It is amazing how the convenience of these little devices help put our minds at ease and keep us connected until we see him safe at home.
