Outlook versus Palm Desktop

[From Arco] In our office everything is powered by Windows. There is no way to avoid it. But I own a Palm T|X and the first battle was to get the desktop installed. Not because of the difficult installing technique's but because of the software policy. There's is no way to install anything because our PC´s are closed for almost everything. For example if I want to sync the system time with the Internet time I get a warning that I don´t have the right to do this. But after a few talks and a few cups of coffee the system administer agreed that I could install the Palm Desktop and DocsToGo. I decided to sync with Outlook. Everyone uses the same software. I tried it for a year and went back to the Palm Desktop instead. What happened ? The last year I only got 3 meeting requests by Outlook. With 3 meetings a day this wasn´t much.... I found myself making appointment´s directly in my Palm instead of using Outlook because the categories somehow always failed to be right. With the tasks I had the same problem and syncing the tasks I shared with a colleague, was a disaster. So I synced with the Palm Desktop again. Everything I do on my Palm or at the Desktop is compatible now. This works for me (and not against me).
