Documents To Go Bug

[From Dan McFarland] Sammy, I don't know if you have heard of this yet but the latest version of Documents To Go (ver. 10.002) can't sync changes made on an Excel file kept on an SD card. I have been having trouble with a small Excel file on my Palm TX I use to keep track of my weight. I keep it on the SD card. Any changes I made on my Palm would never show up on my computer and worse yet the changes would disappear from the Palm after a sync. DataViz is aware of the problem but only recommends keeping the Excel file in the Palm's main memory. Here is what I got back from DataViz's tech support. This is a known issue in Documents To Go v10. If you synchronize a file (specifically an Excel file) to the storage card memory, make an edit on the handheld, and then sync, the changes to do reflect on the desktop. The workaround to this issue is when using Excel files, sync them to handheld memory and not expansion card memory. After making edits, the changes from the handheld will synchronize to the desktop. This is something I think people should know before they purchase version 10. This is a problem as version 10 is the only version that handles Windows Vista and Excel 2007.
