My Palm Centro

[From Kevin D. Moore] This is my first time to post with you. I have been a Palm user longer than I can remember...would not know what to do without the little guys. I started out as a Palm handheld purist...like so many others. I maintained my Palm things on my Palm and my cell phone things on my cell. I was an immediate fan of Bluetooth and begin it's use immediately...pending an upgrade of course. Now I was living high on the hog...I could, at the drop of a hat, access the internet on my Palm through Bluetooth using my cell as a modem. Man, that was sweet. It was such a difficult decision to upgrade to my first Treo 680, a decision made easier once they released the unlocked version that was orange. You see, I owned at the time a Scion xB 'Hot Lava' automobile and it just had to be purchased. I transferred my data over and have since upgraded to a Palm Centro (white) and am very anxious to see what the Palm group will do with Nova.
Do you remember the excitement that used to build when we knew new handhelds were being released under the Palm name? I would buzz through article after article, web page after web page to get a glimpse of the 'spy photos'. I still believe one of the most elegant of handhelds was the Palm Tungsten T|T slider...wow, nothing has ever touched it's innovation since...until recently. Due to the new design team that 'anxiety' over new releases has returned. The new Treo Pro is strikingly beautiful and embodies the old vision and yet has just wet the appetite of so many curious about what will happen with Nova. I am almost giddy over the prospect of what is yet to come. Until then, well...just have to wait.
You had mentioned one of the more useable programs that we prefer. I am a big fan of Franklin-Covey planner software http://www.franklincovey.com/fc/index.jsp?. It is a very useable program and it helps me keep track of my days. I am an instrument designer with an engineering company in southeast Texas and have many projects to track. In addition it is very helpful with tracking day-to-day issues. I highly recommend it to anyone.
