] It has been a month since I upgraded to the 2.0 version of the software, and I can't say I am all that impressed. The general impression: it is sluggish. Apple's motto, it "just works" doesn't seem to apply here. The AppStrore is great - or it would be, if it worked like it should. Let's take the following example: I am browsing the AppStore on my device, and every single time I find anything intresting, I click "INSTALL" - then the AppStore exits, showing the icon with a progress bar - a sight that is not going to change for the next ten minutes. If I go back to AppStore, it takes half a minute to load back, and I also loose where I was in my list. Also, when installing something in the background, all apps tend to be a little more crashy. Then there is the iTunes Sync - it is a nightmare. I disabled app backups, reducing the usual Sync from half an hour to 15 minutes - it is still a way too long. The Sync process is also annoying and uninteligent, trying to install back applications I deleted. (I also have to mention that the AppStore is littered with all kinds of selected cr*p. It takes a long time to filter out useful stuff.) I hope with future updates Apple is going to change the situation - for their own good... :D
