Go Bible

As mentioned this morning on my post titled "Testing Device", this afternoon I'd like to talk about Go Bible, which is a free Java-based Bible software for cellphone. My wife asked me to get a Bible software for her Sony Ericsson W350. Since my favorite Bible Software Pocket e-Sword (for Pocket PC) does not work on cellphone, I had to search for an alternative yesterday, and finally found Go Bible. Too bad the English version is KJV (King James Version) only, and that NIV (New International Version) is not available. Luckily my wife only requires the Indonesian and Dutch version. There are also many other languages available.

The screenshot here is taken from the website. I assume it shows the general look of the software on a cellphone. I actually wanted to show the screenshot of Go Bible running on my O2 Xda IIi PDA Phone (through MIDlet Manager) instead, but I forgot to bring a card reader or USB cable, and I do not have a USB bluetooth on my workstation at work.

Of course since the software is designed for cellphone in mind, navigating it on Pocket PC takes me some time to get used to. It is quite nice and simple enough. I would recommend this to everybody.
