Do I need a netbook?

[From Mark In Nebraska] I have had a Palm TX for nearly 4 years. It has served me very well during that time. With the rush of netbook releases over the last few months, I have given serious thought to moving away from my TX and purchase a netbook. But I am hesitant. I am 53 and have arthritis. Small keys and a small screen do not lend themselves to getting my work done. :) I am also concerned about the lack of a cd/dvd drive. I have no interest in carrying around additional tech toys. So what should I do? I made a personal decision which reflected my own age, health and needs. I have kept my trusty TX and use it every day. I also purchased a Toshiba Satellite U305. It has a large keyboard, the cd/dvd player on board, and a 13.3 inch screen. The battery life is excellent and it is easy to carry around when I travel. Perhaps the best part is the price. Considering the rising netbook prices, I got a great, small laptop for the same price point. To meet my needs, a netbook is not the answer. Thanks to my TX and Toshiba, I am a content techie! :)
