A Whale of a Tale

My Wife and I took our kids up to Cape Ann, in Massachusetts, to see some whales. It was a crazy 1.5 day trip, with the kids sleeping for most of the 5 hours of driving we did on two consecutive days. They were wide awake for the two immature humpback whales jumping out of the water and slapping their tales and fins against the water. It was the most amazing of the many whale watching trips my wife and I have been on. Admittedly my Treo was not the star of that show, but it did help us get there and back, thanks to Google Maps, WhereAmI, and our ability to check my hotel reservations on the way there. There was crazy traffic on the way home and google maps kept us up to date on the best way to avoid traffic and also let us know how much we'd be delayed on the modified route we ended up taking. Kudos also to Sprint for having internet service far enough into the Cape that I couldn't see land in any direction!
