[From Marc Centreville] What better way to get through the 7th grade of homeschooling, than
with a new Palm TX? Books on our son's reading list are downloaded
from various free-book websites, for reading right on the Palm. He can
sync his notes and reports between it and our PC in order to be graded
(using wifi, even!), and instead of a "bell" letting him know when
it's time to go to his next class, the built-in calendar will sound an
alarm, letting him know it's time to switch from math to English, etc.
He's also learning to break projects down into various tasks, and the
satisfaction of checking them off. It's hard to say what he's enjoying
more -- 7th grade, or his TX. Now, his sister wants one! (actually,
she'd prefer a Treo like her dad :-) )
If it wasn't for PalmAddicts, we wouldn't have known half the things
one can do with this little device. Thanks Sammy!
