How I use my T5 in 2008 & hope to use multiple Palm devices in 2009!

[From CvW] Hi all... Hope everyone is doing OK! We're freezing in South Africa! Onto my post! I'm back to using my broken / not broken T5 & Palm Keyboard as my laptop replacement - I bought a 2nd hand laptop but the OS on it was giving me problems, so I took it back to where I got it and they're busy reloading XP on it. I must admit it's a change coming from a 1680*1050 resolution screen to 480*320! But for my use - typing up my notes into comic book scripts, it's OK! While using my improvised mini-NetBook device, I thought about next year and what I call Palm OS 7 - the same OS will be on my phone, PDA and sub-subnotebook! Instant activation on all devices, all tied together with Palm's NetSync version of HotSync. New GUI, icons, formafactors - really looking forward to it! I keep on having visions of an iPhone-esque device, but with a sliding Treo/Centro keyboard - now that would be the best of ALL worlds! The easiest way to get me to buy any future device is to slap a Treo-style keyboard on it! Back to the reason for my post - I really enjoy writing on my Palm - it's got the best parts of writing longhand on a trusty memopad married to the convenience of having your work in editable form! The idea comes 1st - I write down whatever idea I get, whenever! Then I expand it till I'm satisfied it's a good framework for the story! Lastly I take it over to Docs2Go and finish it there! So that's my writing process on my T5 Foleo wannabe! Cheers from South Africa!
