Everything has been going well with Phone 2.0 for me so far.....

So far so good with the iPhone 2.0 upgrade on my iPhone 2G. Everything works fine. A couple of programs that have caught my attention that I have been using include MonkeyBall, no further commentary needed on that, needless to say that the guys at PATowers have been loving this game, there have been a number of swear words shouted in frustration but it's a great game and most addictive. Bejeweled 2 has also been played and is fun I am also learning Spanish as my regular readers know and that being the case I am using the lonely planet phrasebook which not only allows me to learn but also pick up the lingo as phrases are read are dictated to you. Facebook is probably my favourite application at the moment, allowing me to update wherever I am and stay in contact. I had heard a number of negative reviews but I actually think it's very good, in fact better than the web based interface and no crashes to date either. I am also taking advantage of AIM which is a very good substitute to Toccer on the iPhone and again, allows me to stay in touch with all people friends and family as most people I know use AIM. So there you go the experience is good, no crashes just positive things to say. The was painless for me and I followed these instructions over at hackthatiphone which got me up and running with ease [surprisingly, I thought I would mess things up but I amazed myself, nothing went wrong] in well under an hour.
