PDAs work where even radio and TV fail

[From Laurel Krahn Minneapolis, Minnesota] Hi Sammy, I'm a pretty serious fan of the Minnesota Twins so when I spent last weekend in Des Moines, Iowa for a convention, I was dismayed when I learned that Twins games aren't broadcast on the radio there and usually aren't on television there either. What's a geeky baseball fan to do? Well, I could use my laptop to connect to the net and listen to the audio broadcast from MLB.com, while watching the pitch by pitch play info on the website. But the thing was, I didn't want to be stuck in my room. Fortunately, the hotel where the conference was held had free wifi throughout the hotel. So I ended up carrying my Palm TX around with me so I could watch the details on plays and sometimes even listen in (using headphones with my TX). Was really glad I could do this on the last day of the conference after I'd checked out of my hotel room and packed away my laptop-- still had no problem carrying my trusty Palm around to keep up to date on the game. Also could keep up with Twitter, Livejournal, and Instant Messenging. We really are living in the future! thanks for providing such a nifty PDA resource,
