[From James Moat, Minnesota, USA] I have used several mobile browsers – the built-ins, of course, like Blazer and PIE. I’ve tried MultiIE to enhance PIE, which works well, and have even purchased Opera Mobile. They all work fine, but until last week, I have not enjoyed reading Palm Addict on my mobile device. I could only use Opera Mobile, but it would take too long to load the large page over an EDGE connection (and yes, I want images). I saw a notice about Opera Mini 4.1 Beta (
http://www.operamini.com/beta/) and quickly loaded it up. It’s a Java app, which takes some getting used to, but what a difference. Like the folks enjoying Safari on their iPhones, I am now able to see the entire webpage and quickly zoom into the specific text I want to read. Best of all, it’s FREE.
