iPhone MoBlogging

This is my first stab at blogging on my iPhone. Like many sites, TypePad has created a custom format for the iPhone. It is very simple and elegant. To the real question at hand, however, how is typing on the iPhone for me? Well, it is definitely taking some getting used to. I am able to type somewhat quickly, and thanks to the auto-correction feature of the keyboard, I am not constantly hitting the backspace key. Still, I am not sure this could ever approach the comfort and ease with which I can type on my Treo. There will always be an inherent advantage to having solid keys. I think that it is just human nature to prefer the tactile feedback of real keys. The other thing of which I am sure other iPhone users are already very aware, is that navigating around a paragraph or two of text without arrow keys or the ability to cut and paste severely limit the usefulness of the platform tor a true mobile warrior. Since it seems Apple is attacking that market by adding true Exchange support to the iPhone in the upcoming 2.0 firmware release, I would hope that they will address this as well. For now, the Treo remains my preferred mobile device for longer emails, moblogging, or text editing.
